got a pair of snowjam 90tts early last year, and due to the lousy winters and busy days at work, only got to go out on them 6 times so far... these were my first skiboards, ive been skiing for 15 years, and always thought the poles were a little useless. i got them online and loved them. im really digging the skiboard thing. my last time out though, i managed to split one down the center... i did wipe out, and i was going fairly fast, but i did not hit anything, there was no ice, i just slid a few feet. when i got up and got going again i realized i couldnt turn right. it cracked enough that the left side bent up and would not hook, so i could only turn left with 1 ski.
so i give skiboarding 2 thumbs up, but i have to give the snowjams a thumb down.
i did just order a set of revel8 EMPs and hope i have better luck.

i have had snowjams for over a year and had no problems yet. o well, i hope mine dont crack

rock on, most people seem to love them, and i did too... i probably just got a bad one, i just cant give the thumbs up because ive been left boardless mid season with such little use on it. luckily i can salvage the bindings from them

That really sucks, they're just out of the warranty, but that looks like it could easily be defective boards. I have never seen a board split that way before. Most breaks that are a result of hard riding and just beating the boards up are just behind the binding.

i did try to contact snowjam, but they are 2 months out of warranty... so i dont expect anything (and havent gotten a response anyways) thanks to the SBOL i ordered my new boards monday night and i received them yesterday and they look much more serious then the snowjams. cant wait to try them out.

snowjam doesnt just make skiboards, i think they make snowboards too, as well as other items. so they probably dont give a rats ass about them either way.

My 2003 SnowJam 90s cracked EXACTLY the same way in less than one season. Got some warranty replacements in '04 (the same graphic as you in the pic) and they have been fine.

The place I purch'd them from told me several ppl had the same problems with them splitting ... they were the ones who ended up replacing them for me since SnowJam sent me some used POS that was in almost worse condition than the one that split.

Getting some EMP's this week ... I CANNOT WAIT!!!

good to hear i am not alone atleast... turned out to be an expensive blessing in disguise though, because the EMPs are just soooooo much better its hard to even compare the 2. missthing - wait til you get your feet on them, you wont beleive the difference

One bad thing about my current boards is that the color scheme to closely matches BLADES which really irritated me when I first got them as warranty replacements for the ones that had the green/orange swirl graphic.
