Hey all,
Can someone gimme a 1-10 rating of the FF Cam, FF Pro, and Bomber Elites. Right now I have Five-0's w/ FF Cam's and am wondering if I should get new bindings along with a new boards. Thanks.

I'd give a 10 for Bomber and FFPRO
I'd give a 9 for the FFCAM. solid aluminum, quickly adjustable, got the rubber riser and everything. It's just not as solid as the two above, with a couple plastic parts.
Still you can't go wrong with it.
My mission in the off season is to find a sick deal on ebay for an FFCAM. I let a $12 pair slip through my hands in October by not bidding fast enough.
I've never ridden the Extreme2, but I'd give it a 5 from what I've heard. I think the FFCAM is that much better overall.
Has anyone ever heard FFCAM issues? I haven't.

The bails on the FFPros/Bombers are about 50% thicker than the ones on the Cams (at least on the Cams I had). Definitely some significant flex in them before they'd lock in. I'd say you probably don't want to wait too long before upgrading them...

The bales on the FFPro, early model, from Katec are 6mm diam and rock solid. The downside of this is that they dont give as you clip in, so getting the correct tension can be tricky. The FFPro, late model, from Snowpro have 5mm bales, so they give a little, allowing easier clipping in. I have never heard of them bending, but you can bet someone has done it. The Cams are basically the late FFPros from Snowpro with a tool free adjustment system. Some of these were poorly manufactured, which allowed the adjustment to slip. It is a simple case of adding a little packing in the right place to fix this, but it should never have happened. All three bindings are rock solid, all metal, non-slip adjustment, and cnc machined examples of how a binding should be! Never seen Bombers, but they have much the same rep. I like the models manufactured by Snowpro, because they have a huge range of adjustment fore and aft, which allows easy experimentation with set-back.
