Hi,
First time to the website, so I'm hoping to visit back a lot more in the future! I'm just about to go skiboading in France and could do with a bit of advice... I've been skiing a couple of times before, and skiboarding once last year in Bulgaria. Last year I was on non-releasable SnowBlades, and this year I've hired out the newer releasable SnowBlades (unfortunately I regret this having read the numerous posts on this site regarding the Salomons!!).
Since I'm fairly new to Skiboarding, I guess these should be fine for me for now. I'm fairly confident going down blues and (slower) reds, but would like to start getting into some jumps. I've tried out some wimpish jumps (the ones where you get about 3cm of air for the first time, and it feels like 100 times that!)... so basically, how do I go about taking off/landing, etc? I guess a lot of it is about confidence, but what speed should I approach for starting off? I assume if you're too slow, you'll just nose-dive! Should I be leaning forward, bending knees, anything else?
I'm about to post a topic in the other forum (regarding purchasing equipment), so maybe you can help me out with that too...
Thanks a lot for any help!
Jon.
