Snowjam Scorpions

I just got back from my first weekend every skiboarding. I loved it right away, it was so much better than skiing in everyway. Everything was great until the second day on my snowjams. I wiped out at the end of the and one of my boards cracked right down the middle. I'd take some pics, but my camera is broken. The crack looks JUST like the one in the post below me. I think there is something wrong with snowjams if they crack this easily. Maybe, it was because I got them on ebay, but they were brand new. I'm only 170, and the crash that cracked the boards was bad AT ALL. So, i'm not very happy with snowjam, but I'm very excited to get back into skiboarding with some Revel 8's!...as soon as I get some money...

i had snowjams never had a prob. but... i now ride revel8s. there worth the money

You know I was worried about my 90TT's not holding up this past weekend because of that other post, but mine held up fine. I had some pretty bad highspeed wipeouts, and they never showed any weakness. I got mine off of ebay as well. I'm wondering if SnowJam just doesn't have the same level of scrutiny in their QC as skiboard-only companies do.

maybe... Next time if ever get enough money again, i'm getting Revel 8 because as far as i've seen, this hasn't happened with them yet.

i also have snowjams.. and i had 2 pairs. in both pairs, one ski cracked. i am now rideing 2 different year snowjams. also my cousins have snowjams. one of my cousins had one of his pairs cracked so he is rideing 07 scorpions. and the other is rideing the same way i am because he also had 2 out of his 4 skis crack...
i dont think ill be buying snowjams the next time i get a new pair.

I'm kind of wondering why you keep buying snowjams if they keep cracking on you. If I had something as important as a skiboard break on me, I'd go with another brand.

well i had snowjams all last year. n this year one got a small crack in in. and since i like 75s and a new pair with extream II bindings would cost me 130$ off this guy from around here that sells them on ebay i figured i give them another try.

I've had snowjams for like 4 years. I love them and haven't had any problems with them. I did however hit a nasty sharp rock and kinda messed up the base, but I was so happy with them I bought another pair.

Time to invest in better boards man. Nothing should be crackin that easy. Paycheck well spent.........
