that's not even close to abuse. search for skiboards at newschoolers to see some gems.

ok i have found it..

wow, the people there, as far as i can see it, are c**ts pure and simple, and I mean that in the strongest sense of the word.

They are like the snowsports alternative to the KKK or AB or something, thinking they are so majestic.

Wow, I only got through one page of replies to the "why do you guys hate skiboards" thread and I couldn't take it anymore. I got the impression that all the posters where middle to highschoolers with no idea of how to form a clear opinion or express it in a clear sentence or two. That's rather sad. I'll ride down the mountain with anyone. I like skiboarding and others like snowboarding, skiblading, skiing, etc. I'm glad that most of the people are this forum seem to be fairly decent and mature about their posts.

yeah you nailed it, mostly immature young kids, the newschoolers forum is a waste of bytes. if you're gonna skiboard you have to have thick skin. it's a shame but for some reason instead of people thinking "oh cool, you're having fun, doing your own thing, good for you" they seem to think "hey, you're different then me, i don't understand you, I MUST DESTROY YOU!!!!" the upside to all of this is it's a natural filter. the people who choose to skiboard are here because they LOVE it and choose to do it regardless of the "mainstream" pressures and as a result we have a much more laid back, accepting, grounded group of people to hang with ;)

i went on newschoolers once to read an article about some professional skaters that tried twin tip skis. chris haffey, frankey morales and someone else i forget but they were pulling like 720's their first time on skis ! wish i could have shown those guys some skiboards, more like inline skates imo.

I did browse some of the forums on newschoolers and i was apalled at the general ignorance of EVERYthing, not even talking about skiboards. just down down the forum name list and it just SOUNDS like retards... here's a sampling... form your own opinions

Some people are just stupid. and people dont understand skiboarding because they havent tried it.
All the same, people should just give it a try or shut up.

It realy bugs me that kids do stuff just cus other kids do and they want to fit in I am 14 probly the age everone is doing that crap and if I did i would be a stuck up snowboarder thats playes bball and all those normal sports like my friend My friend dont rag on me skiboarding and not snowboarding cus they see how good i am and how i can go places they cant on a snowboard

I wounce had a football coach that was bitching about the gravity games being in town and how they were just a bunch of made up sports. So I say Hey are you retarded someone made up ever sport its just some have been around longer he was so narrow minded he hated things just cus he dident understand them. And lets be honest you dont hear about Xgames compeaters using drugs, sterriods and rapping littel girls. the X games Athelts have there head on strait and are thankful for wat they have well most of them but IMO they are all better atheles and people than those cokky pros

wow. I know some great psychologists if you want to get all your feelings out. I also know some great English tutors if you want to fix your grammatical errors.

Professional skateboarding, biking, roller blading, skiing, snowboarding, and especially skiboarding, are all much smaller than professional baseball, football and basketball.
So people don't hear about them as much and therefor don't know as much. Thats also why we don't hear about professional skateboarders or snowboarders being stupid, because noone knows them anyway.

everyone misspells, it just gets difficult when a lot of them are misspelled.

And the drug thing, every sport had people who do drugs. The bigger skiing/snowboarding/skiboarding gets, the more people in those sports will do them. its a percentage thing.

Its all good. I know a lot about the professional football world because I know a bunch of people in the NFL, every guy I have met, except for 2, have been great guys. They care about people, not druggies, don't even smoke or drink, and have families.
The two guys that sucked just had huge egos, but thats professional sports
