how to spin

hey guys, ive gone skiboarding a couple of times, and i've only been able to get half a spin and land fakie on jumps any tips on how do spin will be great

i read on here before i started trying spins that you really have to commit with your head...look over you shoulder until you spot the landing, that will force your body to follow.... it worked for me

When I spin (I'm assuming you mean on the ground), I act like I'm going to skate stop and then just let my boards level out. The momentum carries them backwards. When you are riding backwards and want to turn, the same thing applies; ride the edge and then just turn them downhill. You will probably want to do a backwards snoplow at first until you get the hang of it. Once you get it, it becomes second nature. My first day trying to spin I could do about 5 in a row without stopping, and I felt pretty comfortable.
