Have you guys ever seen this (http://trixonstix.com) before?! It looks like figure skating on skiboards but I have no idea what company makes em. Check out the "trix" section. I've got nothing against this sport, even though the name is stupid (TRIXonSTIX) but it seems kinda weird to me.

They look like snowblades for queers. Their "model" looks a little outdated on that website as well, and worst of all, they call them skiboards! Can anyone say rollerdisco?

that's what pissed me off the most. I dont care if they wanna figure skate on snow or whatever but dont call them skiboards when they DEFINANTLY aren't anything like skiboarding.

judge not lest ye be judged....my point is we hate it when twintippers (they can't stand that name) and snowboarders call us names so it just makes sense that we not practice the same thing we hate. i don't like those things either and yeah they give skiboards a bad name but it just doesn't make sense to call them the same names we get called. sort of like the dad hitting the mom, the mom hitting the kid and the kid kicking the dog. break the cycle and rise above. ok, i'm done.

thats old, webstie says 2001 on it.

and you dont need releasables on skis taht short, they won''t release if you put them at the proper DIN settings. and lowering the DIN settings is dangerous.

now that I think of it I saw someone doing this at Okemo except on salomon snowblades w/ releaseable bindings. Looked weird to me but I guess that's why I dont do it :D

They were invented by a Mr. Gauer and were originally called the Gauer Dancing skis ... They are used for " Ski Dancing " Kind of like ice dancing on skis :) !
