i think my weekend will be free...not sure yet with baseball though. Hopefully it doesnt get too slushy

Hmmm well mountains are camelback, blue mountain, shawnee, jack frost/big boulder in the poconos. From what ive read on paskiandride...big boulder has the best parks by far, even though its one of the smallest mountains. Tickets are 25 dollars i think as well.

I'd definitely be up for Saturday at least in the morning. I have a commitment in the evening, but I'd stay as long as possible. Sunday is a little harder since I need to sleep for work Sunday night. It would depend on how far away we meet up. As to that, the only places I've been to recently enough that I can remember are Bear Creek and Blue Mountain. I'm willing to go just about anywhere though. I'm more for carving up groomers than hitting parks, but that might change if I was with a group of guys who could coach me into it.

As an aside, I'll be up at Blue Mountain this Saturday afternoon/evening. I'll have my best friend's little brother with me, so I won't be able to ride hard with anyone, but if you happen to see me come over and say high. My gear's listed in my sig and I'm kinda hard to miss with my height. We're supposed to get over four inches here Friday, so I'm hoping the conditions will be decent.

well now where supposed to get 8.5 inches of wet snow where i live, and about 10-12 inches in the poconos. This week its gunna be cold, so it should buy a few more weeks.

Blue and JFBB are about the same distance away for me, so they probably are pretty similar for you CrazyBoy. JFBB has a lot more in terms of parks, but I don't know what conditions will be like by next week. It's snowing here now, but this past Wednesday it got up to 75 degrees. I also have a baseball game on the 24th at 1. Tyberesk, do you play for Wilson?

Dan

I was looking at the JFBB site, and all lift tickets are $25. That sounds good to me, but does one ticket apply to both areas? It seems like BB is strickly a park area. I'd like to try some park stuff, but personally I'm a fan of the groomers.

Yeah, the lift tickets are good for both mountains from what I hear. I think they're about a ten minute drive apart though.

Dan

We should've done it this weekend. I was at Blue Mountain last night, and the conditions were excellent. Lots of fresh powder on all but the most exposed slopes.

The problem with pushing it back is that we're playing the lottery with the weather. There is a chance of rain most places around here from what I gather on weather.com, so I'm not sure how the conditions will be this weekend.

Just got back from Wisp Mt. at McHenry, Md and from the minute I got their it started snowing and didn't stop till today I was skiboarding in 8 inches of powder in places and at least 2 inches all over the mt. being the second person on the lift as soon as it opened didn't hurt either:D

and ya the 35ft kickers were AMAZING!!!!!
3 of them in a row. Their rail park wasn't to bad either but everything was closed other than like the butter box and a couple jumps

I would recommend that place to anyone
as long as their is snow

This recent snow was great. I was up at Blue Mt. on Saturday and the powder was excellent. I was really impressed with how well the EMPs were able to float through all the different conditions.

Well from Reports ive been reading on Paskiandride.com....Blue Mountain....is garbage(parkwise). Jack Frost is in good shape and Big Boulder will be opened, but only limited. Less than half of the runs will be open and only the most advanced park will be open along with the hike up rail park. The intermediate and beginner(rail) park will be closed for the snowmobile races.

Sorry, I can't make it. As much fun as that sounds, I have other plans now.

I will definitely be up for some PA meets next season though.
