hey guys im sorry i post so much, its just amazing to see the frendliness, and quck responses of you guys.

I was wondering wat kind of wood is used in the core of the boards. Also wat wood is better/worse

i now some companies used poplar for weight but im not sure of others... im sure someone else will be able to answer better though....

Questions are part of the this forum is for, so don't worry about posting a lot.

Various kinds of wood are used for cores depending on the flex the builder wants. I believe Revel8 boards are poplar core, whereas SnowJams are a birch. Some boards are a blend of two or more kinds of wood.

Alot of skiboards (and skis) are 2 or more different kinds of wood. Based on what kind of riding is going to be done on the equipment. Sometimes harder wood is used on the outer edges of the board for more stability, while some put hard wood undernieth the bindings for better energy transfer.
Poplar, ash and birch are all very common types of wood found in skiboards.
Foam is also very common in snowblades...

revel 8 uses a poplar wood core. im not sure about loken.
