Is it possible/safe to use risers and non-release bindings???
I like extra height and leverage.

i don't see why not. i usually make the risers out of cutting board plastic. you just also need to buy longer metric m6 screws to fit the inserts.

I mean like the pro primes??? Would you just need to adjust the screws to be longer??

I'm assuming you want to use risers designed for releasables with non-releasables. I think it should work, as long as all the holes line up, which they should.

making up for lost time i guess....
plus i am at work and killing time.
Would the screws need to be longer in order to fit the non releases to the risers??? I have releasables......but i hear that the non relaese are more fun to ride.

Do you have the non-release bindings yet? If so, I'd just measure the thichness of the bindings where the screws go in and add that to the length of the current hardware.
the non release bindings give you a closer to the board feel and more exact and instant reaction on turns.

You should be able to get some stainless steel screws at a chandlers.
they're typical panhead stainless bolts with a hex head.

If you're unsure about the screws themselves, just take one of the originals to a hardware store and match it. They should have what you need. And you should be able to get stainless which I definitely recommend.
