im guessing there uk ipods use different file formats and they are disscussing different convert methods... just a guess..

i think valmorel was offering a method to convert songs purchased through itunes to mp3 format. there is talk that apple will soon offer protection free songs for an additional fee...

I wish napster would do that, then I would get free songs and be able to move them to my MP3 player with out converting them

ease audio converter is a great program. also depending on how you get your music, you may just be able to get it in multiple formats
if you are ripping it, most ripping software can convert to any format just by changing the settings.
If you're cool like me, you just get original copies of songs from the record label in the formats.
