Hey Folks,

We at Spruce Mountain are contemplating bringing out our own line of skiboards. They are aimed directly at Salomon blade products sold mostly in retail shops and are better because:

1.) They have release bindings (Spruce Risers).

2.) They have 4x4 mounting inserts for the bindings so you can move them to other boards.

3.) They are built with laminated wood cores/triaxial glass fabric instead of foam/biaxial fabric.

We are in the process of finalizing the design for the first board. I've attached a sample set of graphics that we are looking for feedback on (+ and -).

We are finalizing the brand name as well, so if you've got suggestions, send them along. We will have more graphics to look at next week.

Thanks for your help.

Jeff

the sushis are great haha especially the second one, i like the design on the vivid but not too crazy about that blue face dude. i like the shiny sun thing on the first Core models but not on the second.

what would be the board's geometries yo.

The boards have a width profile of 104/80/94 with a running length of 72cm and a turn radius of 7.5 M. With he Spruce Riser the stance can be set pretty much anywhere you like it.

We're planning on introducing a 99cm board first, although we can do a 90cm version if the market has a strong preference. The 99cm version has a pretty short running length (70cm) and a fairly small turning radius ( 7.5M). It has a medium-stiff flex pattern, so it's softer than the Salomons (too stiff IMO) and stiffer than an M7.

i love the sushi desigh, although i think green should be replaced with some maroon red. the shiny sun thing is too... i don't know... unoriginal, boring???

Mix is also coming out with a model called the Core so you may want to change that name to avoid any confusion. The graphics look good though I like the last pair.

Yeeup, our 90cm is called the Core, as I think you already knew. Not sure why that was even idea. Oh well.

We won't be using Core anywhere. It was just from a sample graphics exercise that one of the designers came up with.

I say you should've went with the core designs. Those look HAWT!
And with the wide range of graphics I would've bought each model.
I especially love the sushi one and the light colored sun one. So these models are not going through production at all?
