View Full Version : Help with Boots
I have a pair of Nordica Trend Ski Boots and I was wondering if they were any good for skiboarding. They are quite stiff and I wondered if that would effect me in any way when skiboarding.

they look pretty good. how far back can the cuff go? meaning how upright can you stand. the more upright you can stand the better. my boots have a powder mode which when engaged forces me forward and locks the cuff from going any further back. when they are in this mode i can hardly make it down the hill, my thighs kill. take it out of that "mode" and i'm all good.

those are the ones. I am able to put them into an almost upright position. So appart from that are they suitable to ride.
Thanks a lot

I have the typical skiboot too. Mine looks to be a way bigger angle then yours and doesnt have anything i can adjust cuff or walk wise.
The skiboard (minus riding/carving/etc) typically feels quite ski like with the boots. I think rails is where you feel the main difference. It seems that the boots I see used in most of the videos have a more stand up look. I feel a bit pushed forward on rails with my boots. I think you notice it the most because rails/boxes are not riden forward like the snow, You typically ride them sideways. Your center of balance is more forward then it would be on hard shells im sure. The difference is small, although that is my biggest feeling with typical boots.
I would personally like to try some hardshell board boots for comparison. Dont really want to drop the cash.
Anyone know if the Deeluxe hardshell snowboard boot will be back in stock? I can't seem to find it anywhere else online. If not anyone have any reccomendations for a wide boot for skiboarding?

Ya sure do. I need a mondo size 27.5-28.5 anywhere in that range preferably 28 and you seem to only have alot smaller or bigger in stock.

more sizes should be available once the season gets closer.
