View Full Version : AllZ 94 skiboards - now officially !!!
So - the time came, designs are online in www.allz.lv + later here on SBOL (http://www.skiboardsonline.com/)
+ some info there.
Web page is not finished yet, but it contains info and designs of AllZ skiboards 2007/2008.
As far as about company AllZ ... what can i say - you all know me for ages + you all know www.skiboards.lv and Latvian addiction to skiboarding - so thats the thing - we needed our own pair of skiboards.
But for now - its so late (1:26 AM) and i am going sleep. All questions and support can be done here in forum ;)

never had chance to ask my designer about inspiration .. will do that later ;)
BUT - as for BASE design, THATS realy my WILLING.. i wanted BASE look like this. Inspiration is from old salomons or line skiboards. BUT that all mixes so great... A then 2 lines ll and then Z .. so that all makes sence for BASE design.
About TOP sheet design will ask Gatis Sulcs ;)

kinda like the A to Z kinda thing goin on there. Im diggin them alot, hopefully someone at an SBOL meet will have some i can try out. Are they supposed to be stiff or kinda soft or what? I also see they are capped instead of sidewalled. What made you choose that form of construction instead? I know thats how the lokens/snowjams are.

This was like idea - to make skiboards which are:
-simple
-easy to use for most riders (from A to Z ;) )
-cheaper boards so more ppl can buy them (so capped.. )
-RADIUS 6.5.. its going somewhere as old CANON M7 boards, i remember i liked to ride them, and i started my skiboarding with them (i almost do not count in 1 season on snowblades bcs M7 showed me what real skiboarding is)
So putting all these things together and looking in size segment where we have free space = i came to AllZ 94cm skiboards... not TOO skinny and not too wide.
Supposed to be ok for all riders ;)
Can be used as beginner KIT
Can be used on rails - jibing
For everyone and everything from A to Z ;) So - thats how that all started.

Good job Martins. I especially like the base design. Simple, but effective. I think these boards will fill the 90-98 gap nicely, I'd be interested to try them. I know Phil's keen so maybe he'll give me a go if he gets them ;)
Valmorel - I may also be in 3 Valleys that week (the cheapest!), where will you be based? We are thinking of booking in @ Val Thorens - "snow sure"!

And sound like in that week gonna be more skiboarders in 3 vallees !?!? .. hm, i could think about that, who knows, if i will get free week that would be great! but i can not book now, so if i can go i decide in last minutes. do ya company book apartments or 1 house?
1 skiboarder house could be great ;)
