yeah i was thinking of trying some skiboards this season, it looks like fun :D

i skied long sticks for 11 years but then got tired of it and wasn't going anymore and was living in florida at the time so not even thinking about skiing. then i moved to n. california, tried snowboarding at heavenly and hated it. then went back to a pair of skis but not having a lot of fun. spotted a bigfoot promo video in jon hoag's inline store in stanford univ. (jon was friends with michael canon it turns out). so i rented a pair of sporten masso's, 76cm, and went to squaw valley. i fell in love immediately, i was making lines through feet of untracked powder in the trees and i was hooked. this was in '97. i then rented a pair of line sun's and broke 'em the first day at alpine meadows. by the end of the season i had decided i loved skiboarding and since i was now working in silicon valley and messing around with web pages i decided to start sbol in august of '98. skiboards.com had started a bit earlier under the name powderskate and chappell-skiboards(getboards) started at the same time. we carried line and groove boards that first season and soon added canon, journey and imperial. the products now are the best they have ever been and i still can't wait to go ride, just like that first season.

he films, coachs, takes pictures. stuffs his gullet with pb and j's. and thats just halfway through the day. then he films more. takes more pictures, coaxes you to try harder things. then just when you are tired and beat from falling for the last 4-5 hours attempting new tricks. THEN , THEN OF ALL TIMES, Greco is ready to bomb some runs. then wonders why you cant keep up:-p
