you're joking right? jay didn't invent skiboards and he's not at the same level as those other guys so he didn't make the list.
plus the board only allows up to 10 choices in polls so i couldn't add more if i wanted to.

no it's a common misconception caused by an article or two that were written in the past saying he was the inventor. he never corrected the articles so the myth was perpetuated helping line's sales. however, if you talk to michael canon you'll get the real story. canon was first.
yes ,and idea was born in EUROPE my dear friends!!! ;) by M Canon seeing some big foots, am i correct Greco???

Thank you! ... I have been biting my lip on that one for a while now since people kept talking about how great line is and what they have done for the sport. There really is a whole story about how that article came to be but it wasnt a miss quote. In a nutshell it was a straight diss to the man who helped him along the way...M Canon. Glad to see this one getting staightened out and Canon getting the credit where credit is due.

There have been many stories about who invented what. Guys claiming they cut their regular skis down and made skiboards long before anyone and guys making them in their garage. Fact is Canon created and produced the first skiboards and Mr. JL would not be where he is without a little help from the good folks a Canon. I know you may all think....B.S. G...please correct me if I am wrong
yup, Michael Canon helped J.L. to build LINE skiboards ! i know that fact, but dont know why never noone started to talk about this more! its like -secret or what? :D

maybe he wasn't the cleanest one but the man is crazy on skiboards !
have you seen his crash last year on twin tips when he tried this GIANT gap ? you can see it in the msp dvd "yearbook"... Mike Wilson rules !

No allz no secret but I had a certain someone tell me the real story and I was not sure if it was okay to tell. So I never said anything. Don't need people thinking we are spreading rumors ya know? But this is the real deal though. Glad this topic was opened for discussion for sure. The record needed to be set staight in my opinion.

Canon was the first company to start major production of skiboards. I bet that there were others who made their own short skis or things similar to skiboards, but the skiboard as we know it today was started by canon.
