There really isn't a difference.... It's Sept. , 85 degrees outside and no snow in sight here for at least 2 1/2 months so I figured it was something that we all could at least discuss for curiosity sake.
Maybe it would've been more relative if I asked what pets do you own?

i dont have a jacket i dont like how they feel when im rideing and theres only been one time that i wanted one and thats when i was rideing in new york and it was -15 that sucked and as for pets i have a real fat dog
Yeah, i dont like jackets either, but i have some big fat poncho lookin thing for when its really cold.
Up here you can't screw around. In Minnesota its not uncommon for it to be below 0 and it's not un heard of to have a day or two where it's like 30 to 40 below without the wind chill factored in. With that said...I have a couple jackets. The first is a 686 Enterprises, and the second is a Burton Toast Jacket. I think both of these companies make great stuff.

Agreed. You all should come up to northern Minnesota here and you'll get yourself a jacket. Theres times when theres no one else on the hill because its so cold. -20 plus wind. Sometimes you have to go in after every run just so you can feel your face, toes, and fingers even when you're bundled up.
