Hi All,

Started Skiboarding last year on some Salomon Snowblades which I bought V.Cheap on Ebay (£50)...had an amazing time and have been permanently converted to Skiboarding! Since coming back I have tried out some Line Pros on my local dry slope and realised the difference.

So I have decided to upgrade.........

I have found a UK shop that has some Line Weapons with the old Aluminium Bindings and they want £190 for them. What does everyone think?

I dont grind (yet) and generally skiboard with skiers so mainly carve and get air. Is it worth getting Weapons in light of this or are there better options out there? There are no Skiboards other than Salomons on UK Ebay.... and Line/Fischer/Salomon/Head seem to be the only brands UK shops stock. I have heard bad things about the new Line Skiboards due to the plastic bindings they now do. I cant find any Canons or the like that are stocked in the UK or that dont charge massive shipping charges from US to UK.

Any suggestions as I am itching to get back out there on something decent......

even thought the weapons ahve a grind plate under em, theres almost no performance loss from them. they carve just like any normal board. as for the price, im not sure how much that is in dollars but it sounds a bit expensive. but they are excelent boards and bindings.

Almost 340 dollars... I'd say thats a bit too much... You'd definitely spend less than 250 buying them on-line from the USA...

They are great boards and are hard to find now but $340 is a little crazy.

you can get a great pair of canon's or mix's for like $230 and then the shipping would be around $55 so that's $285 for a quality pair of skiboards and bindings.

if you wanna go this route or have questions email me at greco@skiboardsonline.com

yes definately order them from Greco. I can personally tell you, he actually cares about his customers. I suggest you go through SBOL as it is a great site and you'll also get a sick pair of boards. Its a win win situation.
