skiboard rentals?

hi, i live in san francisco and im thinking of going up to tahoe to play in the snow. i do rollerblading and ive heard that skiboarding is a good cross over. i would like to try skiboarding first before i invest my very small budget. does anyone know where i can rent skiboards in the bay area or in tahoe? thanks

boreal used to rent then in n. lake but that was years ago. i don't know for sure now. might have to call around and get a bunch of people who have no idea what you're talking about until you find maybe one place that does.

you could try and buy some really cheap secondhand ones?
