I agree with the fact that in order for the sport to grow we need to support the real skiboard companies out there, but we also need to spread the word to those people out there on the mountains.
A LOT of people don't really know or even understand the difference between skiboards and snowblades and that could be the one true thing holding the sport back. I myself being new to all of it only figured it out by searching the net and eventually ending up here. My point is that if everyone of us that truly believes in the sport and wants it to grow spends a few minutes explaining the difference between the two it would more than likely have a huge impact on the sport. Where the average individual merely views it all as short ski's or snow blades if you will and never even realizes the difference.
In the end, the more people that know the difference and crave good equipment the more of the larger ski companies will want to make products to feed these cravings.

After all the best thing you can ever do for something is refer / suggest it to another.
