First Session 07/08

well just got back from my resort, from a lil jib'n sess. My resort opens in 2 wks, but had a lil pre-season bash. Though it rained most of the 2 hours i was there, it was still worth it. Had two 8 ft box setups. The snow was shitty, the boxes were shitty, the weather was shitty, AND I HAD A F'N BLAST! The owner of my resort was out taken pics (having her send my asap the pics of muah riding) Couldn't get a 270 in, but did get a backslide, front slide, 270 off a few time, 180/360 transfer over the box setups. Got to see some old fellow riders that i have not seen since last season. The BWP's (last years model) held out quite quant i may say, did not have a chance to ride them last year, so got to today. I'll post up the pics once i receive them

I got out for the first time this season too, at a little sledding hill a little ways from my house. There was about a foot of powder on it, just ran down, hit the big table-top at the bottom, and then hiked it back up. It was pretty fun, but my boards disparately need a wax, they were really slow. Anyways, it was pretty fun, got pretty good at hitting the jump without flailing around in the air. :cool:

There was also a small skateboard park near with said amount of snow and some wood ramps and, well, skate stuff. Went over there and tried hitting a box they had, but I couldn't get enough speed to make it all the way over. Oh well, it was fun, and let my practice getting on and off, even if it wasn't at the same time. ;)

Anyways, can't wait to get out some more! :D
