Heeey people!!

I need some advice here.... I'm currently sitting here in Whistler trying to work out how to conquer this whole mountain (if possible)

I'm riding Tansho's at the moment ( i'm really damn short) and having a ball on these weapons.
Well at least on the groomers. When I hit some deep powder my journey gets a bit 'unstuck'. I dig in really easily, slow down and go A over T.

I lean back as far as I can and this kinda helps me float over the powder a bit but speed is still getting affected... lots!

Is there anything I can do other than pushing the bindings as far back on the boards? I don't want to switch positions just for the sake of a few runs.

Thanks
ash

What bindings do you have???

If you have small feet you can set your binding setting back farther, without taking of your binding....

Most bindings have additional holes for setting the actuall binding itself back on the boards....

I lent back a little further today, seemed to help a bit more, its ridiculous how far back you can lean in comparison to snowblades!

i ride tanshos and groove retros (80cm) in knee deep powder. im 5'8" and 155 lbs.

trick is, pick the steepest line, dont slow down and lean back. setting back your bindings helps a lot too.

but maybe you should get bigger boards. like the KTPs
