Yo, just got my boards and bombers and was wondering if anyone had some advice on how to put them (bombers) together.
I noticed right away that one of the set screws --screw on the toe clip
is loose (wobbles), while the other one is firm..is this bad?

Sometimes the binding hole is a few threads short. My boards were a few turns short......Slowly work the loose one in.
Attach the binding to the board. Then adjust the binding to your boot.

I'm talking about the screw on the toe clip of the bomber binding. The one screw on the one binding doesn't fit snug in the hole, it wobbles, I imagine that it's not supposed to, anyone know what I'm talking about?

Here are the pics (too big check the link), the screw in them is the one I'm talking about, it wiggles side to side no matter where I adjust it; whereas the one on the other binding is snugly fit.

I imagine this isn't normal, since it's only a problem with the one binding, but I duno...should I send them back?

One of my tanshos was a few threads short of me being able to put the binding on....So i gently worked it in. Now it fits properly.
Both of my toe screws are easily movable with my hands. They have not come lose or moved on me.

I'd say sending em in is really up to you. That screw is only there so that you can adjust how far back the toe clip is in case you have problems getting them off. If you can put them on and off, then that screw shouldn't really matter.

It sounds to me like that hole was either drilled oversize or tapped incorrectly. It's fine for threads to be slightly loose for hand-turnig ease, but there shouldn't be exaggerated side-to-side wiggle.

Yea, I mean it's the first thing I noticed getting them out of the box, cus I heard a metal rattle. It's definitely loose to the point where I thought I should seek some input. There is a decent amount of side to side play and some up and down play, which I imagine will lead to me eventually losing the screw to the elements.
I tried switching the screw from the other binding in the hole causing problems and it had the same result. So the issue is definitely what you said the hole is either "oversized or tapped".
Any word G?

That sounds a bit more like an actual problem...if its actually the rattling kinda loose.
Like crazy said , it may be a bad drill. Id seek Grecos advice on this one.
