I took out my new r8 Cities and my bro had out his smackin new chickens (even though he was riding them yesterday outside of our house) today and bammmmm they completely owned the mountain. After riding Lokens and Weapons they were SUPERRRRR light and stepping up from 99.5 to 105s felt like nothing. The Cities were alsooo wayyy more flexy and felt like buttttttttttter on rails. The conditions were hardpack/ice and in some spots there were 6 or more inches of icey chunked powder. The Revolts rocked through these conditions and held an edge with no chatter down the black diamonds.

The park is where they are amazing tho....they slide super nice and the bases feel great on rails. The flex also felt awesome (the lokens have none) I gotta say they felt really smooth on some small jumps and big jumps alike.

everyday i ride the citys i fall in love with them more and more. Its impossible not to stomp every trick with them they are like butter on rails and smooth as silk in the air. Not to mention they are durable and holdin up amazing (esp considering all of the hard crashes i take trying shit i shouldn't be doing, but do anyways)

OK now I really do want the Revolt's over the BWP's!!!! LOL! great promo on them!
Did you ever try a full 360 spin(not not in the air) on them???? I really don't wanna loose that.
Just gotta decide on the bindings!!!! dang another freakin decison! I dig non releasers, but love to step in and out of boards. releasers are heavier and kind of make me think I am just using skis rather than a skiboard, no what I mean?
hmmmm... G will say release due to my size 5.4" and being safe. I can crank the DIN up a little, don't them coming off while landing or doing a steep hard carve!!!! that is my ONLY downfall thought about releasers(and that I feel like I'm on ski).
Your 2 cents?????

Cities or Chicken??? Which graphics were SUPERB???? I LOVE the lime green edge on the cities, your saying the Chickens don't have that?????????????????? bummer.

you can spin full 360s all the way down the mountain haha. The chickens have white sidewalls and the citys have lime green sidewalls(which look amazing with blue ffpros) They are awesome on the ground, in the air, on rails, backcountry, they are just amazing.

Lookswise, i personally think the cities look better, but the chickens look really nice in person

yeah the lime green stripe is SAWEET! But ya know what, once I get the bindings on the Chickens, the chicken is covered up alot and leaves the cool tip & bottom graphics with all the colors, which I do like. hmmm, be sweet to put a side color edge on that chicken!!!! I will have to ask my expert graphics man if he can do that... you'd be jealous!!!!! Nah, the Cities are very cool, but I really think I am liking the colors in the Chicken and no longer making aboard decision between the BWP or Revolt... it is the Revolt Chicken! Nest season I will get a Bantam for pure spinning skate fun! LOL.
Just gotta decide on the darn bindings. The releasers are heavier and you don't have that close to the board feel I like, but safety safety safety, 5.8" rec for nonreleasers and I'm 5.4" but been on 99cm non release for 4 years. Just want the best for skiboarding and my style which is mostly grooms, lots of spins, but am very eager to powder it up on these cluckers and try some more jumps and boxes!!!!!! No I'm not gonna go gung ho.

I don't think releasables would be much of a problem for you; but then again I'm being forced to switch to them by my doctor. The Chickens are sweet, and they look even better in person.

I going for the Bombers.. I can always get releasers if after riding I really feel the need for it... before I break something! I should be fine though.
You be careful too!!!!
thanks, I'll post a review on them once I get em and take them for a "chicken run" LOL!
I'm serious about getting a color edge put on em too.

I think the Length of the KTP, the Radius of the BWP, Width & Waist of the Revolt's, and the tip.tail of either KTP or Revolt, Maybe waist of 10.5. but the flex of the BWP is a proper fitting board for me and many others and a true all mountian board. Just my thought.
