So I'm talking to my friend who hates skiing and he thought that skiboarding would be better for him because his chief complaint was he didn't have enough control with long skis.
I'm wondering if any of you guys know a place in Colorado (denver mostly) that rents out skiboards. My first time ever on skiboards was on a rental pair of snowblades from Christy Sports. I know how you guys hate the snowblades so I just need a place that rents out a decent pair for my friend.
Sorry if it's a repost.
Thanks!

Yeah! Skiboards.com (the "skiboard superstore") is based out of Durango. That's a couple of hours south west of denver, but it's still in colorado. Don't worry about getting screwed over, because those guys know what they're talking about. And if he likes the pair he tries, they'll take the rent fee out of the cost, so he can buy them. Good luck and have fun!

Yea, thanks! :)
The problem is that Durango is six hour one-way from Denver and thats pretty far for my friend to drive.

I was in a similar boat as you were man, I just coughed up the money bought my own skiboards. If I do not care for it, looks like I will be selling brand new BWPs w/ bomber elite bindings on them.

If I'm not mistaken...I think skiboards.com will actually mail the rentals to you. You may want to check into it.

Yeah, they'll definitely mail them. Looks like they have some Summit's available also.
Best of luck, hope I helped.

yea along with Revel8, Spruce and Allz...Summit makes quality skiboards. I dont agree with alot of things that are sold on that site, but who i am to judge. Doc makes high quality hand made skiboards and will rent them out. It will at least give you a taste of a real skiboard...then you can try some Revel8s and see what you like:)

Yea, thanks guys. I showed my friend that the rental site and he seemed interested.
Currently I'm riding on SB10's and I'm getting fed up with them, but they still do the job. The problem is that the cheap plastic bindings that came with the pair keep releasing on me in the trees and deep powder. So, right now I'm looking at the KTP's with bomber elite bindings, but money is tight right now so it's going to be at least one more Christmas before I get them, but in a year who knows what amazing boards there will be.
