Hot waxing....Good or Bad?

I've been hearing from alot of people that people are finding out that hot waxing can warp your boards. Is that true? Or only if you dont know how to do it right?

never heard of that happening before... the iron should only be hot enough to melt the wax

that's totally not true. hot waxing is THE best way to wax boards. i guess if you totally screwed it up you could mess up your bases but i doubt you could warp the boards. just melt wax, slide iron around lightly on the melted wax to make it flow and then scrape off. don't let the iron sit on the boards and you'll be fine. or bring 'em to a ski shop and let them do if for a few bucks.
