Hi!
I`m just starting on....well....:o ...Snowblades. I didn`t know that there is a difference between Blades and Boards. Now I know better.

I think, I will try these Blades, and maybe get some good Boards next year.

I have those Black Dragon SB1, the seller told me, they have a wood core.

Does anyone know those Blades? Are they ok?

I`ve got Rossignol Skiboots, they fit very well.

Do you think, I should buy a helmet as well?

Would it be easier to learn on Boards than on Blades? Or is there no difference?

If it`s easier on Boards, I will sell the Blades, they are not used , yet.
Which Boards would best for a bloody beginner? I`m not a tall person. And I don`t have much money.
I already did a search on ebay, but there`s nothing on it, except Blades.

Would it be better to buy releasable bindings? And to wear a helmet?

What do I want to ride? Prepared snow and powder, maybe some jumps.
And maybe, someday, sliding on rails, too,dunno,yet...

They are both easy to learn on, easier then skis IMO.

Skiboards allow you to do more stuff though. I spent quite a long time on rental snowblades, when I got my first pair of boards I was amazed at the difference.
Its hard to explain, just get the real thing, you will have more fun.

I am not familiar with the blades you have, but you should get skiboards if you can.
SnowJams are the most affordable skiboards that I am aware of.

On the releasable binding question.

If you are using shorter skiboards for your size non-releasables are very safe.
Go to skiboardsonline.com click on the boards section and for each board length there is a suggested rider hight for non-releasable bindings.

helmets never hurt, and even if you're fairly sure you wont hurt yourself you never know when somebody who doesn't know what they're doing will lose control or something and end up hurting you too. nobody likes brain damage ;)
