Calling all female skiboarders....

The Romanian World Cup coming next month is in need of female skiboarders to represent our sport. If you are an above average skiboarder, like to go fast or jib and want to be famous in our little circle please consider a trip to Romania Feb. 16-24th to compete with other women from various countries. You can participate in just one or all the events and the top priority is having fun and showing women love skiboarding too. We really need more women in the sport for the comps. Its how we are going to step up the marketing. Woman are the next step.Help out the cause girls. Come to romainia

Still not sure I'm good enough with my limited experience. Gonna see how much improvement I can get out of my trip to Alps next week.

Would be good to meet everyone and get some tips though and see the pros in action :)

Will girls be competing together or against the guys?

Is there a deadline for entering?

i see ladies can compete against ladies, when your in the alps practice fakie downhill,chinese downhill,and slalom go paticipate and win a medal for us brits!!!! quote mrs doyle go on go on go on!!!! i too would love to go but my girl cant use drag lifts at all due to back problems TEAM GB SOUNDS GOOD EH?

I would love to come but it isn't a possibility for me.

I'm going to MCAD this year [the Minneapolis College of Art and Design] and if I miss more than 2 days of any class my final letter grade for the class goes down an entire letter.. Private colleges have some hardcore rules. Also being that it's a private college it has me completely broke. If I can afford making it out there next year I would love to try to work something out with my school but it's hard to say what they'll allow me to do. :(

I'm sure that if you'll tell the college that you will ride in the USA team they will be proud (even put you in the year book) and let you skip few days ... it's a national pride to be the first American female rider in a major international event (skiboarding that is) ...

by the way "the fitz" there is NO drag lift in Busteni (Brasov or Sinaia slopes might be visited too). Busteni has a very modern quad chair and a big capacity cabin that goes all the way to the top of the mountain.

For next year? ... still evaluating few options, so far looks like we'll have at least 3 major Internationals in 2009.

So things are still lookin up for skiboarding hopefully I can make it out next season with a trained femail try and get her good in the park but I'm stoked for everyone going wish I could go back with everyone

So, where are all these skiboard competitions located, besides half way around the world? any in the States? Are the majority of us skiboarders not even is the USA??????
