I've been riding a pair of old school groove patriots (w/ 2 bolt bindings) for about 4 seasons now and have been having a blast laying out big carves and hitting the bumps between the trees. However I really want to try and land some big jumps this year and was looking to get a new set of boards with the now standard 4 bolt bindings. I've been really happy with my Grooves, but a buddy of mine was saying he read somewhere that their newer stuff has been having some serious quality control problems. Any of you guys out there in cyberland know anything about this? If it's true what season did the problems start occuring (I found some for sale that are from 2002/3 season and haven't even been taken out of the plastic)? I was looking at either buying a pait of the SkyWalkers or if there really are issues with these boards then I was thinking about jumping on a good deal on some Line Pro 98's. Any thoughts, opinions, or info?

I almost forgot, I bought a used pair of Canon EasyRiders near the end of last season(for cheap cheap cheap), but didn't really get a chance to ride them because of an ankle injury I got skibiking on my buddies KoSki dualy. I was kinda disappointed by the appearance of the construction of these boards but haven't really had a chance to test them out, anyone every riden these before?

i think the problems with groove were back in 2000-2001. if you want some groove 4 hole boards we have a bunch of older 82cm boards for 30 bucks a pair.

Any chance you still have a pair of the 90cm Groove boards? Is there much of a difference between any of the newer all aluminum bindings? I found that grooveusa still sells their bindings direct for under 60.00 shipped, which is waaay less than the prices I've seen for any of the other brands... I have pretty good control of my boards even with the old school composite two bolt groove bindings, I imagine that the change up to the more solid 4-bolt metal design will make a big difference, but haven't seen any comparison type reviews between any of the different designs.

we only have the 82's and 75's left.
all the bindings have slight differences and they are reflected in our prices. the most expensive bindings are the best and then it goes down from there.
you won't see any reviews of 2 hole skiboards because those boards are so old. i've never even seen those outside our old stock.
also, the canon easyriders are incredibly old also and new canon boards are manufactured completely different from those so don't let them represent current canon's at all.

G,
with the 75cm airforce board put out by groove, they come with the standard four screw binding right?

Usually they are 4 hole but I've seen a few that were 8. Best to ask first if your buying on line or something.
