Alright, disregard everything prior to this. The light bulb finally went off in my late last night about my skiboard choice!!!!!

Any board will be fine really, BUT the board I really need/want is the skiboard that can handle the California spring snow... wet mush!!!!!! Someone who has actually used these skiboards getting through wet mush would be very helpful.
The only gripe my brother, husbandand myself have is that if we hit any kind of mush or straights, the speed we had produced is lost and we almost fall down due to the sudden slow down and we have to skate and really work to get back to the lift lines. not fun. Know what I mean? Our traditional skis definetly work bettter in these conditions and we also have our poles to help out.... but we still use our skiboards, just can't get ourselves to go back traditional.

The ultimate decision making question:
Which skiboard can maintain stability, hold it's speed and get through te wet mush california snow, especially spring snow???
Hearing feedback by those who have ridden and experience this will be very beneficial, otherwise it is just our best guesses looking at the specs. It is very very frustrating.
I am figuring the longer & wider board type would be best, but I sure do like to spin! Remember I am currently riding the M7's at 99cm non release and 12.4/10.6/12.4 with 8.0 turn radius and am 5'4".

That is theeeee biggest and well ONLY complaint with our skiboards, not being able to ski through the mush and straight-aways.

You guys have been super great in helping out, I really appeciate it!!!!!
I take in all feedback & comments, realy I do.

We get a lot of wet snow around here as things go above and below freezing all the time throughout the winter. I don't know that any particular board would be better than another for those type conditions; you should just make sure to always use warm temperature wax.

Here again i would think the extra surface area of the KTPs has the advantage in mush. If you read Kirk S' review he talks about the performance in soft snow.

A better waxing could actually bring up performance level.

I am in california and ride alot of that stuff , my own personal observation is that all things being equal , longer and narrower is better to maintain speed , cause less drag and suction on the board from the california warm slush ..

Having ridden the Canon M7 , that board is actually pretty good in the spring slushy stuff ,
If you really want something faster through that kind of stuff .. .again I would consider the Revolt ..

my own personal opinion amongst the boards we are considering the Revolt might be faster than the KTP ,, amongst my own boards , in that kind of stuff , I would say the ALP 110 is faster than the KTP , when both are equally waxed ...

I wonder if anyone who has ridden both the EMP /revolt , and KTP can comment about this ... I think Kirk himself has ridden both boards .. anyone else ??? head to head in warm slushy snow trying to see which will go faster does the Revolt or the KTP win or is it a tie ??? Both have similar surface area , the Revolt is 4cm longer with a narrower profile ..

Also anyone want to comment on the manuverability of the Revolt vs the KTP ??, for myself the KTP feels way more manuverable then my ALP but that is a 9cm difference ...

Then I'm not getting the right wax done on my M7's... for the slush. I'm still ready for new boards though.
You ride Tahoe area? love it up there, usually can get up there once a year for a ski trip, but not always. My local resort is Sierra Summit, we leave like 5:30am from Paso Robles get there when they open and leave around a little before they close at 4pm and back home to Paso by 8pm after a stop of Me N Ed's Pizza in Fresno!
The Revolt's actually look good, even though they are 6 cm longer than mine. The BWP's would be very comparable to mine, just better. The KTP's are only 2 cm longer but much wider.

Yea, you understand all the differences, now you're just going to have to make the decision...
