Anybody ridden these before? Any opinions? Me and my Buddy bought some in the off season for crazy cheap and they seem really comfortable just walking around in them, but seem quite a bit heavier than my hardshell DH boots. My DH boots a re a little tiring on the quads when riding my skiboards though because the ankle is canted forward quite a bit. Any opinions on pros/cons of the more flexible more verticle style of the Kneisels?

I used them last year and didn't like them at all. They're way too heavy to hike and collect snow and ice on the bottoms very easily. They can't get tight enough in the places where you need it and they didn't keep my feet warm too long either. I'm using regular ski boots this season.

I agree completely with Courtney. I sold Rails last year and now use these: Deeluxe Lemans (http://www.skiboardsonline.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SBOL&Product_Code=deeluxe_lemans&Category_Code=boots) and love them.

I used them last season too and hated them. Even at their max size they were tight round the ankles. It's a solid boot sure...but it's heavy like a mo-fo. I am loathing in my comfy-Line transfers...too bad those are not available anymore either...glad I got my set.

actually they are... the deeluxe lemans are almost identical to the transfers but with a moldable liner. lynam has the transfers and i have the lemans when we compared them they were the same boots.

It's no wonder than why Line dropped the X-fer's....probably sold the patent and desgin to another company.

I've never used a modable liner. Before upgrading to the x-fers, I was sold on only using stolen rental boots that were so totally worn out in the cloth department, that only 2-3 layers of socks woudl keep you from getting blisters. But you know...now I really appreciate how nice the transfers really are.
