we buy domains like snowblade.com snowblader.com and made little fake sites with links to a bunch of real skiboard sites and explaining that its called skiboarding ect?

im sure some people who dont know better search fo "snowblade" website on the internet, and dont see anything, and skip over the ones that say "skiboarding" because they dont know any better.

not a bad idea considering i've been calling it snow blading for the past 8 years that i've been doing it until i found this site about a week ago lol. maybe its just me but the word snowblade just seems to roll off the tounge a little easier and is less akward for me to say than skiboarding, don't ask me why, it just is. just my 2 cents

definitely a good idea. even including "snowblade" in tags for the current skiboarding websites may help a little.

i believe snowblades are also a type of winter windshield wiper. you really find some bizare things while searching for snowblades.

As Ty said, just need the funds. It would be really easy to have a name registered and then point directly to the SBOL snowblade vs. skiboard page. No need for the fake page. Unless you want to spoof snowblades.

I say what we do is try and Link all the good skiboard sites to as many places possible that way when people search snowblade, skiboard, skiblade etc. google automatically brings up like sbol, skiboardmag, enursha, exclaim, allz, and other such web sites

I'm pretty sure thats how I heard googles engine works goes buy what is linked the most on other sites

that might not work great tho because if someone searches for "snowblades" and SKIBOARDS ONLINE pops up they might not click on it because they dont know what SKIBOARDING is to begin with!
