I took these bad boys out on Friday night and all I can say is Wow! This was my third time skiiboarding and I had ridden the Mike Nick's previously.
The first thing I did was see how they were at carving. These things live for carving, I was blown away at how tight and sharp I could carve at any speed.
The next thing I worked on was jumping. I have never jumped on ski's or skiboards so this was fun. I have been watching the skiboarding videos made in Japan and they really helped me. I can now jump and land so, so far so good.
Last thing I worked on was doing 360's on the ground going downhill. At first I thought the Mike Nick's were easier at this , but after some time I was doing circles all the way down the hill.
These ALP's are so much fun I can't wait to go out again and see what I can do next :) The best way I could describe how these feel compared to other ski's or skiboards I have tried is that they feel like butter baby, lol.
