Yeah last year the only board in the 105cm category was the EMP (this year's Revolt Tree). The actual Revolt lineup came out this year, so the cities are the only cities ever made by Revel8.

nothing has changed with the trees save for the name and graphics since last year right?

I don't get it either. But dual carbon beams? Are they running the length of the board parallel to each other?

whenever it says carbon beam it's dual, running the length, parallel. I'm sorry for the confusion.

how far does the beam run? to where the tips begin to flair up or all the way to the end of the board?

Yeah G, it's the whole EMP -> Tree's -> Tree's with carbon. Now not only are there two sets of boards that are identical other than saying EMP or Revolt, there are now also some that look absolutely identical but aren't.

finally had the opportunity to add the beams to the trees and took it. most everything going forward will have 'em (except 90cm and under).

ok so heres my question then... do the carbon beams help with flex, durability or something else... in other words what is the advantage of the carbon beams?

nate

the beams add durability but are meant to not affect the flex noticeably

also dampens vibration.
