Skis? Or just riding skiboards with poles? Either way, just out of curiosity, why?

I can't even imagine riding that much powder.

I thought just over my boots was pretty deep for pow. We're getting plenty of rain here in PA, but not much snow.

If you want boards that can keep up with em but feel more like skiboards, look into the Sherpas. You won't be sorry, they ride like a dream in the deep stuff.

Riding in stuff that deep isn't really too difficult, just make sure you keep your speed and lean back a bit, my skiboards work just fine in that type of snow, especially in Steamboat because it's super fluffly and light, not heavy powder.

BrklynCarver, what boards do you normally ride when you do that. I've tried riding some soft powder on my Revolts and as long as there's a decent slope I'm fine, but hit anything flat and I was dead in the water (or snow as the case may be). Around here a lot of the steeps flatten out at the bottom where they meet the rest of the mountain, or have long flat traverses to get to em, and the Revolts just weren't handling it for me.

These days, the Summit 110 Woodies or the Condors. I used to use the Spruce 120s, but I found the flex on them tended to bounce more on the powder than than cutting right through the powder like the woodies and condors do.

Yeah, I definitely see it possible on ALP's or Summits, just easier on condors or Sherpas
