i have had this idea it would be just like a low top shoe i got some feed back at the weekly chat but what do you all think? any ideas to how you could do it?
I highly doubt that a low boot would be possible. You need the height of skiboots so your leg and ankle act as one for turning and stopping. I tried this once by converting my pair of Aaron Feinberg inline skates into skiboots. They had nearly no stablility, and they could hardly manage to turn. I dont think theres a way to do it, but maybe somehow...

Wouldn't that result in serious, painful injuries? I mean if you fell sideways or twisted your ski around...ouch
