Mix Question... How long?

Well, I was thinking of ordering Mix boards back in Sept when I saw they were supposed to be releases early October. Then I thought I would wait for them to come out so I could hear some reviews. So I waited, then the date was early November. I was hoping to see some reviews in the next week or two so I could order them up. Now it is extimated late november. At this point they more than likely won't even be available for my first ski trip of the season, let alone having reviews out on them.

Should I keep waiting, or should I just get it over with and order some M7s for this season?

Have they released any info for all the delays, and can we expect this new release date to be honored?

Patiently waiting to buy new boards for this season, but running out of time...

which mix boards are you thinking about getting? the 110's should be in stock very soon, followed by the Wannamakers, Cores and Fusions.

I talked to Mix yesterday and they said everything was in line to meet the dates we have in our Mix section (http://www.skiboardsonline.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=SBOL&Category_Code=mix)

once they do come in we can get them to you really quickly. no delays once they get here. UPS ground to MO is like 4-5 days, plus we do 3day, 2day and overnight.

i wish i dident have to use all my money to get back home or i would get the alps preorderd now but it looks like ill be rideing rentals for a few weeks

I was looking at the Fusions. I would love to be able to see actual rider reviews before I buy though... I am surprised they haven't sent boards out to some of you guys who ride a lot to review prior to releasing them.. That way we would have some idea what to expect:) I know everyone is expecting big things from them, but so far I haven't read of anyone actually riding them and giving an opinion other than the hype that has us all so excited.

What have the previous delays been caused by?

all the delays are from the same thing. manufacturing. they want everything to be perfect or darn near. the owner of mix is busting his butt to get them out as soon as possible. no one wants them out more than him.

I understand... I hope this isn't coming off as rude towards Mix or anything as I definately understand delays, it is just coming down to crunch time for me with ski season now less than a month away and needing to make a decision:)

I guess I will wait a couple weeks and see what the dates look like, and it it looks near 100% that they will meet the late november date then I will wait, and if not I will just go ahead and pick up M7s.. Will they still be on sale then?

no problem, i understand completely and mix has told me how very sorry they are for the delays.

the m7's will be in stock but i don't know if they will be on sale. you can place a pre-order for the mix boards and an order for the m7's right now. we won't ship anything to you until we talk to you and you'll have a pair of m7's reserved at the sale price if the mix's aren't in.

Would I be billed for both or just the M7's and then apply that to the Mix's if I never have them shipped to me?

you wouldn't be billed for anything until we ship something to you. the order, with credit card, would just be to hold both items until you decide which one you want. you won't be charged until you decide and we ship it.
