What is the appropriate pernunciation of the word "Ramen" such as "Ramen Noodles" I've always pernounced it ray-men, but Mr. godofmdeia (who can't even spell his own username right) pernounces raw-men. (he also spells twice-twise, a lot- alot, and so on)

Just found this:

ra•men [RAH-mehn] [rä'mən]
1. Asian instant-style deep-fried noodles that are usually sold in cellophane packages, sometimes with bits of dehydrated vegetables and broth mix.
2. A Japanese dish of noodles in broth, often garnished with small pieces of meat and vegetables.
3. The Japanese version of the Chinese noodle soup dish called Lamian.

And if you're really that into them, check out this site:

You Europeans are deprived. They're delicious flavored noodles that cost about 11 cents per package and are quite filling. Unfortunately, they have about as much sodium as the Atlantic Ocean.
