So I went skiboarding today and it seemed that everyone was interested in what I was riding. Every other person's eyes were locked onto my boards. I got so many compliments on how cool my boards were and questions about them. One lift operator stared at my bindings every time I went by trying to figure them out :).
What kind of responses have you guys received on the slopes?

i got a lot of snickering behind me in the lines "man those boards are coool..." etc I think the lift guys were just a little confused, there was only one downer snowboarder stuck in his ways I suppose...

Yeah its fun to turn some heads when you are skiboarding.
Where i ride snowblades are quite common, you see people with them every day...
I usually get asked in the lift queues about my skiboards...people first ask what kind of snowblades i am riding (them i explain im using skiboards), they then ask if skiboards are fun, if its easy to perform tricks and jumps with them, then if you can ride off-piste with them...most of the people looks interested.
Some other people just stares at you like you were a green dog...
Some look at you with the face of who is wondering how in the hell can someone ride so fast and carve so tight with such short edges....
I think its part of the skiboarding fun :P
"Those are fast!" is the most common comment by lifties. Others usually just stare until I hand them a brochure or sticker (with the SBOL website address) as an ice breaker.

I love when people ask me why my boards are so short.
Responce: Because after snowbarding for five years, I don't want anything longer than I can rip around in the air effortlessly and actually hit jumps.
