I found this clip on YouTube. The guys are trying to pull off some crazy tricks, sometimes they do and other times they don't. It's entertaining if you can put up with the song. What's a "shit tar"?

yea im not totally sure why no one else has noticed this, but its twin tip skiers making a mockery of skiboards...

the song is "I like my Sitar" by Dr. Bombay...
funny how they are making fun of snowblades/skiboards but they are having fun and laughing the whole time - genuine "I'm having fun laughter" not "these things are lame" laughter.
A Sitar is an indian guitar type instrument

Get over it. There is no mockery here.
Why would you carry your skiboards from Sweden or wherever all the way to Colorado. You can't even rent what they using in Colorado! Further, why would you waste time and money mocking a snow sport when skiboarding isn't even 1 percent of the snow sport industry. And yes, they called em snowblades, like most Europeans and actually, most of the world, who the f cares. Lastly "I like My Sitar" the music in the video is very popular outside the USA and has hit number one in some charts. Yet I don't like it. But I still like the video.
So, what the hell is your problem: They don't wear baggy clothes? They have bad taste in music? They use regular skis? They skiboard better than YOU? Yeah, that's it.

can anyone translate the swedish..?
you could look at it two ways. The first way is that by dressing what is considered 'un cool' (and im talking across skiing/snowboarding/skiboarding/whatever, with neon green pom hats and trousers that dont cover boots) and doing stuff such as piggy backs, they are mocking skiboarding.
or you could see it as a couple of guys with a rather unconventional sense of dress having fun on skiboards.
tbh though, niether option really bothers me.

There are no bad comments in youtube and there are 2 or 3 bad comments out of 16 at newschoolers. So, in the end, if you say their plan was to bash skiboarding, it failed at the very least. And I was due for a check up, so thanks. Doctor recommended Lacroix 124s daily till April.

Besides finding the "sitar" vid, I came across all those skiboarding history clips and the ones with Mike Nick. It's an f-ing shame that they did away with skiboards in the X-Games and Mike Nick jumped ship to skis. He was one hell of a skiboarder, none better that I have ever seen.

what it appears to me is their intentions are to make fun of "snowblading" and while it's true they are having fun while doing it they are still trying to dress and act as ridiculous as possible to this end. this is very common on ns.com (ie: bcrew). it doesn't bother me one bit and i don't care what others think of us, as someone posted, but i don't want them to get credit for making a video that others might take seriously when they obviously have no respect for what we all love to do.
