Awesome carve technique

Today I seen and certainly tried to emulate this dude with incredible carve technique. In short, this guy would drop a sick line and carve it out by literally stuffing his inside knee right up into his chest. Switch over, and do it again. Tight, hard and sphincter puckering. I probably looked like a nightmare but am here to tell you I felt like a god.

No pictures or video. Actually, the slope itself was pretty normal. Steep for me. According to the slope sign it was 35 degree max with 31 degree avg. I practiced on the bunnies for about an hour with varying success as it's hard to carve without significant speed but once I took myself up the technique worked wonders. I'm making no claims myself other than feeling like I upped my game a notch.

sounds like good ole skiboard carving really! That inside knee does come up high to your chest as you out it when carving a steep. I need my husband to take some good pictures of me.. I am always taking the pictures and video.. because it's 'my camera' I guess!

For me it was the more extreme nature of the stance. I had to really get down and into the carve. Not just commit but aggressively commit. It really put me in the moment. Control was better, speed was higher, chop mattered less and the feeling was great. It was also a thigh cooker but that seemed to add to the charm.
