I know it's a touchy subject but would the Line reactor on a Line Pro board be a better all-mountain releasable setup than a Mix WMP + Spruce mountain Riser?
I'd appreciate honest responses regarding the actual likely performance rather than another heated debate about Line's dedication to the sport.
Thanks.

i dunno if the rectors will even fit on other boards? i think the holes are different distances apart on them

the reactors are very heavy and dont allow the board to flex as much as the Risers.
and baileys right the Reactors arent standard 4x4 mounting they are Line's QuickMount system, so uncompatibale with boards other then Lines.

The price difference is very small between the Line Pro + Reactor and Mix Pro + Riser which is why I'm having trouble deciding. which to get.
I want a release binding and I do want to be able to use it in the terrain park and start doing tricks this season. I think that from what people have said that the Riser will be ok for small tricks...but...if the Line Pro is a good setup which will be stronger and better for me then I may as well pay the small difference and go with it...

buy mix + risers from SBOL, support skiboarding.
the risers are pretty sturdy they wont break taht easily, and if they ndo, theres a warrenty.

What he said....
The BW Pro is going to be a stiffer board with better graphics as well
But if you're considering the AL Pro than you also get the added benefit of having a 110cm board
If I had the $$ I'd be on here posting about when my Adam Lynum Pro's / Spruce Risers and free video were coming to my mailbox.

Weight -
Spruce setup weighs: 5.5lbs(2.49kg) / pair
Line Reactor weighs: 7.7lbs(3.49kg) / pair
Mounting -
Spruce fits any standard 4 hole skiboards made by Mix, Canon, Groove, SnowJam, Journey, Imperial, etc...
Line Reactor only fits Line's new non-standard 4 hole boards.
Binding contact area -
Spruce setup contacts the board in a small area (23.2cm) maximizing flex and quality of ride.
Reactor's contact point is much greater (34.9cm) reducing the amount of board that flex's underneath the bindings.
Reliability -
The Salomon C509 binding technology has been in production for many, many years and is proven safe and reliable.
Line Reactor is new technology and unproven over time. (It's release was delayed do to reliability issues)
Production -
The Spruce Risers are made in the USA & The Salomon C509 bindings are made in France.
The Line Reactor is made in China.
Price -
Spruce setup retails for $185.00
Line Reactor retails for $249.00
I like those points G, sums it up pretty good.
The only thing I ever found that makes the reactor better than a traditional ski binding is the dual pivots, but the purpose of that was to let it pop better on backwards twisting falls. On skiboards, your boards are too short, so by the time your on your back the boards are off the ground, so it doesn't even help skiboarders at all, but its just another ski technology they decided to throw to skiboarding for consolidation of our market.
