Hi guys,

I've been looking at the specs for all the new Mix-boards and I can't see any difference at all between Fusion and Ben Wannamaker Pro - except for the name, graphics and the price... Is there any "hidden" advantage that makes the BWP's worth the extra $10?

there was this discussion on those two the other day. the difference is in stiffness/elasticity i guess. anyways, i'd like to hear some explanation to that fact, since the tech specs seem to be the same for both.

yes thye BW pro is stiffer. thats the difference, gives you a different ride and allows you to lay down some hard carves. usually any proboard is going to be a stiffer board. just depends what kind of ride you are looking for.

Okay, that makes sense.
Thanks for the answer. :)

stiffer boards are better for heavier ridders or more aggressive style riding.

softer boards will be easier to manuver but the performance isnt as good.

th BWP are stiffer because they are pro boards.

so WHY to buy Fusion then???

Hmm, I'm not a very aggressive rider, I do some jumps now and then but mostly I just go carving or speeding down the slopes. Mostly because lame snowboarders sit right in front of the jumps all the time, but still...

Maybe I'd be better off with the Fusions then?

Also, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel any difference between them, 'cause what I'm riding right now is basically two pieces of junk compared to ANY "real" skiboard...
