Italy Events

As i mentioned previously, the whole objective of the contest is to expand skiboarding in Italy/Europe, therefore we have decided that we should have many small events in order for people to see the full potential of skiboarding and view the best all-around skiboarders.

This is a poll to evaluate the actual events you riders would like to at the competition.

(this is not as complicated as it may sound:;) )

Could all riders participating to the contest please put the following in order of preference from Favorite to less favorite? This will determine the sessions which we will all compete in. The last one might/will be dropped out...

-Big Air Session
-Rail/Jib Session
-Slopestyle Session
-Quarter Session
-Half-Pipe Session
-King-Of-The-Hill Session (We all start at the top of the hill and start skiing downwards with rocks in our pockets to throw at other riders: first one down or last to survive wins...!)

I'll start it out:

1. King-Of-The-Hill Session (obviously!)
2. Slopestyle Session
3. Rail/Jib Session
4. Big Air Session
5. Quarter Session
6. Half-Pipe Session

and heres my other idea, we all take the bindings off our skiboards and sit on the boards and see who can go the furthest down the mountain without falling off.. its fun but it hurts on dry slopes.

Skiboards have never worked in pipes, and i dont think anyone is really that stoked on a pipe contest of any kind, if it was up to me, id get rid of the quarter/half pipe contests and just focus on slope and rail jams

i think skiboards work fine in pipe it just takes alot of pratice but most people cant do it or just dont like it so i think most of the time should be spent in the park jaming a 1/4 pipe might be fun

We're not sure about the pipe either. We just don't know if that's where skiboarding is headed.

If i had to pick, i'd say quarter pipe and not half pipe,

because unless you can get out consistently and toss a 5 and an invert into your run, and have it be solid, its not going to be fun to watch... i think that spectrum has alot of space to be filled

at least with quarter its more of a best trick in regards to best run

thats so cool, so much riders are now thinking of goin too...it is so good !

BUT - litle bit too late in such thing like acomodation, BUT - never mind, i think all who will be there - we will get sleeping places and all other shit what we need!

i have expierence, that it is possible to get hotel in 2 hours - where ever you are & what ever is time ;)

so, all who think to go - JUST make it, all will be good ! ;)

basically its going to be slopestile, rail, big air, then everyone has to chose between qtr or half pipe and by the sounds of it everyone wants qtr apart from matthew.....

Yes it's been snowing like mad in the last days. The resorts have finally opened and work on the park has begun. More updates on park conditions as soon as I obtain them.
