o.k so im going into skiboarding and i've never gotton a chance to learn about non-releaseable bindings. for example, how do you get your boot on to it? how does it keep your boot locked in? any pictures that may help or any answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

this is simple, there are two bars called bails. The front bail has a toe clip that, after you have the rear bail sitting on the heel of your boot, works like a lever and kind of rolls over the toe of your boot. I may be able to find a pic...

I think I heard that someone had some problems with head boots last year but I think we detirmined that it was a fluke

o.k. so most boots should not have a problem with the bindings....

thanks.

All standard ski boots should work just fine in them. Also, Hard-shell snowboard boots will work in non-release bindings. They won't, however, work in releasable bindings without some modificiation, so if you're planning on getting some longboard skiboards with releasables later you should keep that in mind.

something that has an upright stance and that is flexible, you may want to check out the sbol store. The suggested ones are dibello, rossi soft light, deluxx. Boots of that sort that have good flex and upright stance. And be sure to go somewhere to try on the boots before you buy, make a point of keeping them on and walking around, when doing this to keep them on for a longer time try talking to the shop helper or owner about skiboarding. and he will completely forget about you wearing the boots. When you are sure of the fit and are sure you like it or not, either tell him that you want to try on some other ones or thank him for his (her) time and leave or buy.

yeah it won't hurt to go to a ski shop and try some out before making my buy.
