Mark, didn't you and some others go up there last season specifically for powder riding? I thought I remembered a video of that.

I'd love to make it up there at some point. I fell in love with powder glades at Sugarbush last season and I want to experience it again. If anyone is planning on riding up there this season let me know. I would quite literally drive up there just for one day of some powder riding with other skiboarders, especially if I have my new Condors. And if I don't I may just have to pay Greco a visit on the way up lol.

Jason, do you have even a rough idea of the timeframe for that? I absolutely want to make it this time, but I'll have to make sure it fits my schedule. Even just knowing the month would be helpful.

Yeah the Condors look super-wide compared to most other boards. The KTP's are pretty wide and the Condors dwarf them. I love the 09 graphics, so it's almost a guarantee that I'll be ordering a pair once I get enough money saved up.

I wish I could make it out there for that, hell, I might be able to but I don't know yet. My father is really against letting me drive any distance. I will probably try to get out there because of the amazingness of everything...and if it's that late in the season, that gives me time to prepare with some big trick practive.

February sounds good. I may have another trip the end of the month, but as long as it's not the same weekend I should be there. I'm not into partying, but I'm definitely up for some powder.

I'm not sure yet the best way for me to get up there yet (I'm in North Carolina). I'd prefer to fly, because of the distance. Any airports close to the mountain, or to anyone who's driving?

I would be up for driving all the way there only about 10 hours I think from here...I don't know yet though. I want to find out if I have a job first. I can't fly out because I am 18 and can't rent a car and am pretty sure I don't have enough cash to get a ticket for a flight. And after that last disscussion in the general thread, I am pretty sure nobody would pick me up. Like I said there is a possibility but is unlikely.

All are welcome. Dates very soon. Most likely end of February or Early March. Typically the best time of the year.

Rides from Burlington International possible. Anyone near Boston or Hartford airports? Maybe Jason can provide rides from Montreal Airport?

Adam and Brett – Homecoming trip?

Ty, check your PM.

More soon. Well, some soon. More later (http://www.skiboardsonline.com/vbulletin/upload/group.php?groupid=8).

Kirk, I'd be willing to meet you somewhere on the way and go together from there.

Oxenboxin, if you want to fly into BWI or HIA I can pick you up. You'd have a long ride up as opposed to a fairly short flight, but it may be cheaper. Just an option.

It's a good ways off yet, but I think it's a good idea to get some general ideas going travelwise.

i can pick up from hartford / westchester airport, id prefer hartford though.

and dennis someone would pick you up. we might break your balls on here but we don't mean anything by it. make this trip if you can. it'll be worth it.

who's up for doing this trip baller style with a slope-side ? if we got 10 + people this would be more then feasible. I am, however, calling dibs on a mattress right now. :)

I have a 94 Explorer 4 door so I got lots of room for passengers! looks like about 676 miles from here taking 90 to Syracuse then taking 81. but that can be changed to accommodate picking someone up....someones gotta wanna ride!!!

Shaggy if we know the dates far enough in advance I'd drive with you. I'd come over from Wisconsin meet you in MI and then we can either drive in my car or your truck. My car gets 34mpg's but it's much smaller so we may be able to get 4 in with us.

I've always wanted to come to the coast and board with you guys, this might be a good chance. I'd fly, but eh, I'd rather drive up with some boarders along the way, would be a fun road trip.

Doesn't matter to me whos car we take as long as we all get there. I want to get to a big meet for a while now and I jst know that I can't afford it on my own. I get about 15-20 mpg's so gas would only run about 225 round trip. I don't know what the mpg is in 4x4 though...

so thats 3 allready interested so that would drop it down to 75 each for gas not too bad...

holy damn the longest trail there is 3 MILES long??!!! here I get 350 feet of vert! after seeing that I'm down just tell me the dates and I will sell my sould to get the $$ to go even if I just drive myself.

I get around 20ish in the A6 but it has heated seats front and back (nice after a day on the slopes), AWD w/blizztek tires or Subaru legacy over 30 highway AWD but no heated seats. I am going either way so if people want to catch a ride on the way through or meet on the way up let me know.

Yeah, I think it would be a lot more fun that way anyway, but only if I can get a proper bed. I don't mind chipping in a little more dough to get a mattress, but my body will revolt if I try to push it all day without proper rest in between. I guess that's life after 30. ;)

We can figure out lodging based on the number of people committing. Slopeside would be great but there is also a condo complex we may be able to rent out if we have enough people.

And yes, Jay is covered. Prob will disappear in the next week though. We typically get one good dump in October. Drove by there today for work. So depressing.
