Hey guys,

I know setting your bindings back usually help in powder, but in the North East usually there's like no powder *at least for me* and its all ice >_> What advantages are there when you set your bindings forward? Would it be better to center it as much as possible in icey conditions?

Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel,

I find no use for a set back in hard snow. In fact, you will lose some ice grip. You are best going center mounted in these conditions.

I ride a lot of hard packed man made snow with frequent icey conditions and I always ride my boards centered. I also prefer to ride stiffer boards on these conditions.
