The best travel insurance I've found for ski/winter holidays is:

Covers all eventualities and equipment (some of the tour operator insurance equipment cover is very low, we found it wouldn't cover the cost of decent equipment). They cover snow parks as well as off-piste (some others don't) and competition at an extra premium.
