How do these boots fit compared to other boots. I'm on the fence whether I need a 27.5 or a 28. I've used boots of both sizes. Right now I'm using a dolomite in a 28, but I recently tried a pair of cheap Salomon and I needed a 27.5 or 27 (I can't remember).

Also, can someone who has these give me the weight of both boots. My main reason for this purchase would be because I want lighter boots. It doesn't have to be exact, just put both boots on your bathroom scale and let me know. Thanks very much in advance.

I tried them on in the shop, they didn't really feel that comfortable to me, then again that was right after trying on some of the most comfortable head boots I have ever had the pleasure of putting my feet into and the Krypton rages were almost as comfortable so I can't really judge, go try some on for yourself. I know you can't find them but call around to your local shops and ask again or something because I am sure somebody has these.

Krypton and sprayer should feel totaly different and if you fit one you probably will not fit the other. 98mm last on krypton versus 104mm last on sprayer. I have a very wide foot and would have no circulation with a 98mm last. Get fitted by a boot fitter.

Hmm I am considering these boots too... since I have some pretty outdated axiums, and they are cheap enough that I could afford them. Would they be a significant upgrade?

Gorno, don't buy them. I searched on newschoolers.com and found they only have a 40 flex or something VERY low.

Apparently I don't understand the boot flex index, can someone elaborate. I thought they were saying this boot flexed a lot.

These are only a guideline, remember, its all personal preference.
All companies flex indexes are different, and your personal preference varies, but here it goes.

I like my boots extra flexy, that's why I only ride them in walk mode...if I had boots with an immense amount of flex I wouldn't cheat the way I use them. My dream boot is probably the Rossignol FS2 or the Krypton Il Morrow
