Hey G any word from Zero if you will get a resupply of the other colors that are out of stock for this season? I was thinking the blue's would look really good on the rockets, but wasn't sold on them.

they keep saying two more weeks every two weeks, for about a month and a half. hopefully soon. i don't think there will be any blue this season, just silver and a special silver/black just for SBOL.

it's odd that site shows them available. they were supposed to make green, we placed an order for green but when it came time to take delivery of green they said they hadn't made any green. hmm.
i just hit the contact page to see what's the deal. i'll report back if i get a reply.

I got a reply:
"No sales from the website, it’s mainly for product display."
and no green were made last season, maybe this season. we'll see.

Yea i never tried the originals out, but unfortunately I don't like this years colors. I thought I'd like silver/black, but to me it just looks awkward, last years colors were better.

What are your beef's with the zero bindings? I am curious because they look pretty solid.

Things I Dont Like
-Use Different Allen Keys
-Oversized Toe Piece - Its HUGE
-Metal Blocks have limited gripping potential(circle rubber pads) along with being HUGE
-Bail Arms Are Flimsy
-Ugly Pink Color/Logo
-Weird Cut On the blocks compared to old FFPros
-Metal Blocks could be rounded/made smaller
Things I Like
+The higher rubber pad seems pretty good and pretty squishy
+Seem Very Durable and Strong
+Skiboard Binding Only Company (Which is cool)
+Setback Option
+Cool Color Combinations esp with new black
I think they should have set the bails up much like the bombers...those are rock solid.
My Binding Ratings are
1)+New Bombers seem sick+ (best bindings ever????)
2) Line FF Pros (classics)
3) Old Bombers (I preferred my FF Pros to these)
4) Snowjam Extreme IIs (Have A Bunch....They Are Pretty solid)
5) Zero
6) Groove (Old Design - have been known to bend)
7) Skyskater (they seem sketchy, but could be cool urban-wise)
Releaseables
-i've never ridden, but from feeling/being shown them
1)Spruce - more solid and stiffer than exclaim
2)Exclaim - much more flexy than the spruces

i don't understand why you say the bail arms are "flimsy", they are the opposite of flimsy, really thick and strong.

I think he means they dont stand up on there own like the bombers or some of the snowjam x2's.
cus I was wondering why he said that myself

i dont mean how they connect to the bindings(i guess you'd call it their housing), it doesnt seem like a good fit....and they also dont stand up on their own like the x2s or the ffpros

but compared to the groove and extII's the zero are much stronger and i think come in just under the bombers in being the best of the non release we sell. each SBOL non release binding fits well in terms of price and performance.

The lug design is what makes the Bombers so stiff and sold, and I'd be surprised if they don't have a patent on that. Catek's alpine bindings are supposed to be really good and they still use the same bail design as before when they produced the FF Pros. It's interesting thought that they've adopted the double screw engagement on the sole blocks. I kinda wish that Catek made skiboard bindings too and would offer them in all those nice anodized colors.
